Nice with Russian GS-forum in English

! I am a Swedish hobby lifter who like training with a girevoy sport approach. I have trained with kettlebells for ca 2 years so I see myself as a beginner (I am old too, so I learn a little slower

).
I use weightlifting shoes and I think that they are of great help in jerk.
But, when I do snatches I actually prefer lifting in ordinary flat (and thin) shoes. I feel more stable in the swing phase then.
But, when I watch the good sport lifters it seems like they use their weightlifting shoes in snatch too.
Maybe, I have missed something in the snatch lockout so I do not see the advantage of weightlifting shoes? Or, it is something else...
